From the second we arrived we were treated like royalty! The restaurant entrance has a very luxurious feel about it with gates and double doors on entry. There is a reception and staff that escort you into the restaurant. The decor is very intimate, dark and graceful with a very interesting bar along the front of the restaurant. I had a Gin and tonic to start the night!
We didn't sit down until 10pm so unfortunately we only caught half an hour of the live jazz band; they were amazing though, I wish we could of listened to them for longer. The set up of the restaurant allows you to see the band from pretty much anywhere you are seated.

We had a selection of dim sum on our set menu which varied from vegetarian, fish and meat. You can also request a vegan menu and they will cater to your requirements.
Our menu also included;
- Bang Bang chicken salad
-Black bean Angus beef short ribs
- Peking duck roasted to order, served with pancake, baby cucumber, spring onion and duck sauce
I also had jasmine rice. The food itself was absolutely beautiful every dish was full of flavour and the quality really showed.
Overall the staff were attentive but we did have to ask a few times for our plates to be cleared and there was some confusion over the dishes, as we was told one of the dishes was chicken when really it was Sea Bass. Miscommunication almost messed up our overall experience but I think because we sat down so late, and there was so many of us, they were a bit chaotic.
As I said before, we actually had a set menu which was £80 per head. On top of this you do have to pay £10 per head for the entertainment (which we were refunded as we only caught 30 minutes). As you can see, we had A LOT of food, so £80 for 7 courses I think it was very reasonable. The food itself is worth every penny, I promise you this!
